Noble provided consultation services for grading and drainage on the site. We also permitted a single fire and domestic water meter.
Noble was able to save the developers money in tap fees by combining the fire and domestic water meters in to one, and by limiting the amount of waterline needing to be installed from the property line to the building.
Working with MDE partners and Flynn Construction - the general contractor - we assisted with some minor site changes related to grading and drainage allowing the site to drain easier and have a lower chance of nagging maintenance issues. In addition, Noble helped coordinate permanent water service to the site with the City of Austin.
MD Enterprises extended a 16" water line to the site some 2200 linear feet. We permitted a combination fire-domestic water meter for them.
By permitting only one meter they were able to save money in tap fees, as well as save money with the on-site redesign of the water. We redesigned the system and were able to reduce the amount of waterline installed from the property line to the building.
Flynn Construction communicated well on this project, and were instrumental in keeping Noble involved with the site progress and building interface changes.
MD Enterprises is a local development company that has done a number of projects from San Antonio to Pfllugerville.
This project serves sample of our care and interaction with all disciplines of a construction project. We hope that if you need construction administration, observation, monitoring, or modifications on your site you will consider Noble's experience for your project.
